Another Change To Opposition This Thursday

Our opponents this Thursday has changed yet again. We will now be played Mill United. This is the better of the 2 Mill United sides, that play in the Lanarkshire League(not LYFDA). It will be a good test as they are one of the strongest sides around. We are meeting at 6pm with a 6.30pm kick off. As before, please wear training kit and bring the barcelona jersey from the Blackpool tournament.

New opposition re match on Thursday 18th May

The opposition for this Thursdays game has changed from our 1995(under 11 age group), to a Rangers FC trialist team. We will be meeting at Kirktonholm at 6pm for a 6.30pm kick off. Due to the quality of opposition we will be facing, we ask that everyone makes every effort to be there. Please bring the barcelona jersey and wear the blue training kit.

The final game of the LYFDA campaign is away at Hamilton Palace against Aston Villa. We are meeting 0900 at Hairmyres or 0915 at the pitch.

This Thursday night we play a friendly against our 1995(under 11) age group. They are making the step to 11 a sides and are looking for games. The match practise will do us good. The match is a 6.30pm kick off at Ballerup. Please be there for 6pm.
The boys have to come in their blue training gear and bring the red/blue striped jersey they wore in Blackpool if you have one.

Update on Kits For Kids - Tuesday 25 May 2006

A quick update that to date we have a total of 17,500 tokens. The final day of collection will be TUESDAY 2 MAY at training. I will then be hand delivering the tokens to the Daily Record on Wednesday 3 May. Let's have one big final push and get as many tokens as we possibly can before then.

This Sundays match is against Newmains Hammers. The kick off time is 1200 and the game is being played at Lamermoor Primary School in Wishaw. We will be meeting at 1045 at Hairmyres and NOT 0900 AS EARLIER STATED. PLEASE NOTE THE KICK OFF TIME.

Kit For Kids Collection Update, 19 April

Just a quick update re the amazing response we have had to the Kit For Kids promotion. At last nights count we had a total of 14289 tokens.
With only a couple of weeks to go we must be in the running for Hampden, so lets keep the collecting going!!!

Kits For Kids Update Thursday 14 April 2006

Just a quick update to inform you that we have reached our total of tokens.
At present we have 8250.
We will continue the collection in the hope that we can be the top collector and get to go to Hampden.
The boys have been very competetitive in their collection, and it has been decided that instead of only the top collector getting a prize, all the boys will be rewarded in some way for their efforts. Lets Keep Up Th e Collecting And Get Us To Hampden !!!!
